I'm Kathleen... I lead this club with Chelsea and handle all this website stuff. I'm graduating in June (2007) though, to go to the University of Washington. There will be cool hiking up there.. but maybe it will be too cold and damp and I'll have to visit UCSC to go backpacking with the club!

I've been backpacking since college when I went on Wilderness Orientation with OPERS, though I didn't go again until I joined the Backpacking Club when it was just starting up in my second year (Fall 2004).

I get really excited about:

• making my own 'trailmix' at safeway from the bins of candy, i.e. chocolate covered raisins and peanuts and maltballs..
• oh yeah, and SOUR GUMMY WORMS, too
• mucking with the website in an effort to make it awesome and useful
• planning trips!
• going on trips!!
• fancy facebook poking, made by me
